We are sincerely grateful to all our funders for their generous contributions to support our independent and nonpartisan efforts.
The funds received are used entirely to implement the goals of the Energy Watch Group. As elaborated in our mission statement, the aim of our work is threefold: Scientific analysis, policy advice and public outreach to increase global political action towards 100% renewable energy and climate protection.
Thereby, in 2021, the majority of our funds was attributed directly to pursuing our scientific research endeavors, including policy and legislative proposals. See our Publications to get a profound overview over what these have entailed in the past (notably 2021). These scientific publications were carried out inhouse by our staff as well as through external research partners. Moreover, funds were spent on our communications projects, with the goal of disseminating scientific findings and political developments on climate change and energy transition globally.
